ATTRACTIONS FOR KIDS:
Guided Tour of Zamość -
2.05 - 18:00
We begin the meeting with the guide at the steps of the Town Hall. Together, we explore the Old Town with its arcades, Solny Market, fortifications, and the Lublin Gate. The walk continues through historic Renaissance courtyards (including the courtyard of Marek Grechuta and the "Flower Courtyard"). We stop at the Centralka tenement and listen to stories about Leśmian. Passing the Water Market, we enter the Padwa tenement, where we admire old photographs of Zamość residents and local inhabitants from the collection of Adam Gąsianowski. The next stop is a visit to the Czerski tenement, where we can view the exhibition "Traces of Crime. The History of the Czerski Tenement 1939-1956" as well as the original cells of the investigative detention center. From there, we pass through the Szczebrzeska Gate to the guardhouse building from 1825, currently the headquarters of the Banici Zamojscy Foundation. The tour ends with a meeting with 16th-century reenactors, where we have the opportunity to try on period costumes, sabers, and projectile weapons.
Advance reservation is required, min. 7 days before the stay
Changes to the schedule are reserved
